Justification: The UN Country Team conducted a review of UNDAF in 2020 to identify and incorporate new programming priorities identified by the Government and also inline with the guidance from the UN Secretary General following social and economic impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. The UNDAF was later updated and approved by the Government and UNCT. Since this involved a rigorous consultation between the Government and UN agencies, with help of independent consultants, the UNCT decided that no further review is required. The formal UNDAF midterm review is therefore proposed to be canceled.
