Terms of Reference will be developed, and national consultants will be employed to conduct capacity assessment of project partners and relevant gap analysis in 1) protected areas (SPNAs in project areas), and 2) outside protected areas on a wider landscape within snow leopard range (Environment Protection Departments, Forestry Departments, PUUs, etc.).  Based on the priorities identified in the course of the assessment at least 3 demonstration workshops/trainings will be offered to strengthen, in the first instance, the partners’ capacities in ownership of project innovation products (practicing smart patrolling, wildlife inventory, usage of camera traps, etc.)

The project will offer at least 6 technical workshops per annum in each target area devoted to pasture and forest management, protected area management, smart patrolling, community engagement, snow leopard conservation and sustainable livelihoods as well as on the results of the project Midterm Review.
