Justification: Although we planned to do the evaluation for Nazaha project in our submitted plans and although the next phase of the project was included in the CPD, please note that due to the recent budgetary issues being faced by the Kuwaiti government as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not yet received a formal confirmation that there will be a next phase to the Nazaha project. Furthermore, we have received a requested from our partners at GSSCPD, that the funds budgeted for the evaluation was used by the Government for other projects activities in light related to COVID19. Therefore, we are requesting that the evaluation of the Nazaha project be removed/delayed, since the project budget is less than $3 million and the project duration is less than 5 years. The only criteria that the project met for the mandatory evaluation was "projects entering a second phase," and that is yet to be confirmed by our partners.
