Justification: Given the situation with the Covid-19 pandemic and the anticipated risks for the project implementation in 2020, the initial understanding of Project team was that the Evaluation will be needed at midterm. However, the anticipated risks have not materialized so far as the Project progresses very well. In consultation with the Regional Technical Advisor, it is concluded that the midterm evaluation is not necessary, therefore this request for cancellation.
