1) Keep environmental mgt as one of focus areas in Indonesia Country Programme & EU continues as a focal point for environment programme; 2) Develop a strategic plan that includes vision, mission, values, goals & objective of the EU, and Invite staffs, key government partners & other stakeholders to ensure endorsement & ownership, 3) Include monitoring & evaluation framework in the strategic plan (targets, indicators & outcome assessment, 4) Periodic monitoring & evaluation should be built into the strategic plan & project evaluation should be undertaken for IDEN & other major projects, 5) Urban Environmental Management, Biodiversity & NRM,Energy & Climate Change; 6) - Focus more on the provincial & district level; 7) improve inter-unit communication & coordination, 8) Develop HRD approach that build long term expertise & capacity, and 9) Review of how unit overhead expenses are allocated in the projects.
