Recommendations
R1 The consultants profoundly think this project requires an extension of another one year to put in place an appropriate exit strategy based on the above assessment and findings.
R2 Provide a substantial level of human and financial resources required to set up MENATH so that it can develop into a strategic sustainable organisation with appropriate performance measurement systems. An office with staff should be set up to ensure a daily presence and effective ongoing implementation
R3 Set up a focused in - service training that will seek to strengthen the operational and programming capacity of MENATH as a good example of voluntary work.
R4 The project should continue provide technical support to selected partners, religious leaders, local authorities & institutions, and government agencies for both technical and organizational capacity building as well as institutional support.
R5 Support for policy dialogue and coordination amongst key stakeholders on activists on women human rights with focus on FGM/C
R6 Share with other UN agencies, international, and Sudanese partners, as well as advocates of women's human and reproductive rights the analysis and materials collected throughout the project implementation. This can be arranged with existing relevant UN forums, Newsletters, briefs etc.
