1 The IEGP project has been by and large successful. It has created good models for income and employment generation. Since by definition a pilot "swims" in uncharted waters, there are bound to be areas of improvement. The employment effect, the income effect, the wage effect and other excellent unintended collateral benefits flowed from the project. Replicability of the project is possible subject to certain conditions been met. Since IEGP was a pilot, whether it contributed towards achieving UNDAF #1 as given in ANNEX 1 of Country Programme Action Plan 2006-2010 between The Government of Georgia and UNDP, needs greater introspection.
