3.1 A request for a non-cost project extension was submitted to the donor. Explanation: Justification for extension being that the project team was assembled 6 months after the official launch date of the project. Getting closer to September 2007, the impact of such delay was assessed. Where outputs were still underway, it was considered and decided to extend the project at no cost to complete the delivery. Such extended support was aligned with the remaining workload involved by the completion of the pending outputs.
