1 Community radio?s are a powerful tool to give people voice and a strategy that can be easily replicated. This communities radio?s are to be considered best practices, particular the fact that they involve young people, women and man in a process of building inclusion of marginalised and vulnerable communities for their engagement in democratic governance. It can easily catalyse and motivate people to a great involvement in specific actions. People can see by themselves the results of their work. But for a better replication strategy a clear sustainability approach based in local capacity needs assessment must take into account
2 Regarding the component of civil society involvement in policy dialogue with government and oil companies. This evaluation analysis shows that the project approach was to create a space of dialogue between government, oil companies and civil society. A further recommendation is that civil society must have a strategy to urgent demand government to design a Policy on Oil that will contribute to define a long term vision and strategies to foster sustainable development of the country, and incorporates a necessary consensus among the relevant stakeholders.
3 Media involvement is crucial to stimulate more vibrant debate about public policy. Media make a major contribution to policy process, both by selecting and prioritizing the information available to the public. In a context of STP it?s urgent to build an independent media that can oversight government. Politicians in context where petro money exist can easily manipulate the media for their intentions.
4 Because issues related to the oil production involves certain degree of skills and knowledge to understandings complex issues, Advocacy research based practices should be encourage to contribute for active participation of the civil society groups. Advocacy has a potential to decompose complex issues for common understanding of ordinary citizens, using different participatory approaches.
