1 The project will invest resources in operationalizing the Mangrove & Marine Biodiversity Conservation Foundation of Maharashtra (MMBCFM) in an appropriate way and ensure quick focus on the Sindhudurg coast.
2 A strategic workshop involving GEF focal point and stake holders will be conducted to revise the Log-frame indicators
3 It will be founded on all the results and data and suggestions from the studies already undertaken in the Project. The results of previous project activities, data and stakeholder analysis
4 Reduce damage caused to the corals and the reef habitat in Malvan owing to anchoring of tourist boats within the reef area, it is planned to set up permanent anchorage points, outside the reef area
5 A document that captures this best practice, covering all stages from the PIF onwards and all the challenges encountered including public attitudes to conservation and to the MMS as an indicator of progress, will be prepared.

The fund will be released upon registration of the Foundation and preparation of an action plan for sustenance of the project objectives beyond project period. The initial corpus of the foundation is INR. 1150 m. Besides, provision of funding under the project to the extent of INR 5 m. has been made in the AWP 2015.
