Summary
1. The Logical Framework [LFA] as given in the ProDoc was weak. In future projects, UNDP/GEF should ensure that quantifiable performance indicators and targets to be achieved for each output are given in the ProDoc. . 2. The mission observed and also the communities voiced a need to have WASH [water, health and sanitation] facilities in the project area. 3. UNDP/GEF should expedite the project formulation and approval processes and start the project Immediately.4. In future projects, each CBO may be provided micro-credit of a minimum of US $ 10,000 asrevolving fund for income generation. 5. The project missed inclusion of private sector in promoting eco-tourism activities. 6. The COBWEB project has offered a very good example .7. Intergrate COBWEB community conservation /partnership model.8. Need to establish several nurseries of high value fruit trees to meet the increasing demand and to support women as nursery entrepreneurs. 9. IPs should jointly develop consolidated guidelines for defining the key interventions.
