Amerindian Land Titling

Amerindian Land Titling

Cancelled
Justification: Justification for the removal of the Amerindian Land Titling project evaluation from the 2017-2021 plan: Due to COVID 19 restrictions and cautions on visiting Indigenous Communities, which had a higher degree of vulnerability, and the protracted electoral process in 2020 that impacted the functioning of the PMU and project board (no board meetings were held for 2020), implementation activities under ALT were delayed. The project end date was December 31, 2021. The Donor and Government agreed to a ‘bridge’ extension for the continuation of the functioning of a project management unit and consideration of a request for a 2 years extension - to December 2023 is ongoing. The terminal evaluation is therefore shifted to Q4 2023. As submitted/provided by the Governance and Poverty Analyst - Ms. Vedyawattie Looknauth
