Modify the theory of change to align the project with UNDP’s and the government’s comparative advantage and resources. The modified Theory of Change should be built on project achievements and considering project limitations.

AJK and GB would need to develop their own specific approaches for SDG implementation, as in the case of other provinces

The SDGs project, overall, has done well in relation to the magnitude and complexity of the challenge on which it embarked, although improvements in approaches are possible in view of project experience and the country context as outlined in the project evaluation. UNDP Country Office, RCO, SDG units 2021/11 Completed UNDP is working on three aspects of financing for development. Upon request from MoFA, UNDP has prepared an SDG investment Report to identify avenues for private sector engagement on SDGs. Currently, UNDP is planning the launch of the Report. The Report has also been presented at the SDG investment Fair. In addition, UNDP is providing support to Govt on assurance and Risk Financing and Nature-based Financing instruments. UNDP is also proposing an SDG Fund for SDG-related financing as part of the next phase of the SDG project. so the private sector engagement strategy has already been revisited and considered for the next programming as well.
