Findings |
Recommendations | |
---|---|
1 | There is an urgent need to review and restructure the Inclusive Growth and the Gender/Social inclusion portfolio. This entails formulating an overall strategic direction and narrative for both. Secondly, the placement and location of individual projects and their more integrated linkages needs to reviewed. |
2 | Portfolios should identify a specific knowledge project that allows UNDP to claim thought leadership. The 2020 Egypt NHDR will cover the gamut of development challenges and issues in Egypt and to save time and effort it would be good to look at how complementary spin off analysis/publications could be undertaken. |
3 | Following the clarification of issues and excluding any factual areas that may remain, the CO needs to implement outstanding the Audit recommendations. |
4 | CO to keep RBAS updated on Salary survey issues to see what and how RBAS can support addressing the issue around more competitive salaries and recruitment.
|
5 | PCAP process needs to be undertaken and it should include a clear plan to strengthen communications and to develop a more strategic approach with other Donor partners essential for diversifying the Donor base |
6 | CO to review RBAS Greening initiative and assess participation |
7 | RBAS will follow-up with GEF colleagues on the issue of the SG’s Climate Promise as referred to by the MFA and assistance with representation at the forthcoming COP |
