1. Recommendation: Recommendation 1. Revise the environment component of the 2011-2015 CPAP in order to ensure that the focus of UNDP strategic support builds on its contributions and successes of the 2006-2010 CPAP, and that critical areas of UNDP?s mandate are mainstreamed, monitored and evaluated.

It may not sound clear probably but we have, actually, revised the CPAP based on the lessons learned gained in CPAP 2006-2010. The development of CPAP 2011-2015 is to follow up on the recommendations made by various stakeholders.

2. Recommendation: Recommendation 2. Focus UNDP?s internal capacity development and learning on strategic processes which the government has highlighted as areas where UNDP?s support is urgently required in order to maximise the impacts of environment and climate change programmes.

We would like to appreciate the evaluator and colleagues in UNDP and other institutions for this valuable recommendation. We also realize that this need is important to ensure the success of UNDP?s mission in the country office. Accordingly, we will ensure that capacity development and learning on strategic processes are in place appropriately to strengthen the capacity of each individual involved in the programme initiation, planning, implementation, assurance and monitoring-evaluation.
