It is important to clarify that GSB is not a concept to promote entrepreneurship, but rather a concept to develop and grow sustainable businesses developed in a commercial perspective, led by the private sector and that benefit the poor. This is done by encouraging and stimulating the linkages between the big companies and the small producers in a way that both benefit from each other. The UNDP objective is to facilitate the development of this concept in Mozambique and assisting the small producers in preparing themselves to take advantage of the linkages. However, in its capacity, UNDP will ensure that the youth are considered as the main target of the GSB activities and will design a strategy to prioritize the youth.
