MNRE must urgently address this issue of the timely reimbursement of SWH subsidies to approved SWH manufacturers, for a target maximum reimbursement period on receipt of paperwork by SWH manufacturers of say 2 - 6 weeks. The MNRE SWH subsidies are the main part of the India GSWH project co-funding, and delays in the MNRE subsidy?s disbursement (as was reported to the MTR reviewers) would undo much of the benefit of the SWH growth support provided by the India GSWH project.
