i. The use of Bangladesh?s homegrown Aid Information Management System or AIMS developed with project support, is now well institutionalized in ERD. The Government of Bangladesh has made it mandatory for all development partners to provide their aid data in AIMS, making quarterly requests for updates to its DPs. The system now captures development data of 43 development partners, including some non-traditional donors and non-resident funds and agencies. The first Development Cooperation Report using AIMS data was published in November 2015.

This was done in 2015 by supporting 2 LCG plenaries where the 7th Five Year Plan and its results framework were discussed between government and the donor community. As for international events, the project supported ERD participation in key meetings of the Global Partnership of Effective Development Cooperation and the International Aid Transparency Initiative.

The project staff and officials of the Development Effectiveness Wing delivered a draft of the national development cooperation policy. This draft policy is now being used for consultations with government agencies, local authorities, CSOs and DPS, before submission to cabinet.

The TOR ?Development Finance Assessment? by ERD and UNDP included the development of a road-map for longer term and whole-of-government action and support to mainstream effective development finance throughout Bangladesh government.
