2. Recommendation:

3. Recommendation:

Some infrastructures and equipment are already damaged and require maintenance, namely AWSs in Adailou and Assamo, and cisterns in the Dora area. Other infrastructures are threatened and need to be elevated and/or strengthened before they become out-of-repair. These include: i) the micro-dam in Assamo and the well upstream; and ii) the gabion wall protecting market garden in Adailou. Ideally, additional training could be given to local communities so that they can organise themselves and repair these infrastructures.

The CO don’t have professional relation with the Ministry of Agriculture and it’s not easy to get the key action done. The CO insisted both with the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Environment to have this key action closed. The Ministry of Agriculture need more time to take necessary action to close the key action. History
4. Recommendation:

Strengthening the technical capacity and streamlining the agenda of the NCCC to avoid meeting fatigue and strengthen the NCCC’s workstream

For better synchronization and continued capacity building efforts, coordinate the NCCC meetings with the ongoing Cross Cutting Capacity Building Project which has a mandate of strengthening the capacities of the national systems for better implementation of the multi-lateral environmental agreements.
