To define a separate indicator to measure and monitor the different components of activates in each project (training, production)

This need is recognized, yet tracking against individual level indicators to capture quality impacts is not practically feasible mainly due to sensitivity and accessibility. Having said that, UNDP Syria has taken an action to develop a structure of indicators and start to pilot impact evaluation at the individual level in 2019.

The logical tree of indicators on both long-term sustainable livelihoods and short-term livelihoods support has been developed, in addition to a design of impact evaluation piloting on selected projects through tracking beneficiaries after the project period. Based on the analysis of these data, UNDP Syria will further explore how best to capture impacts of its livelihoods support especially on sustainability.
