Project Manager 2019/05 Completed Submission of proposal for a new global programme in March 2019. Country consultations led by the UNDP management team, February–April 2019. EGP now provides targeted support to 10 countries, including three phase 1 countries. Swedish embassy in Lusaka has earmarked funds for bilateral support (5 million SEK per year) Conversations with the Swedish Embassy in Monrovia planned for January to explore additional bilateral funding. 2. Recommendation:

In order to expand the programme in the next phase it is important to get other donors on board. Therefore, it is necessary to allocate enough time for discussions with other donors.

SEPA and UNDP Project management team. 2020/07 Completed Outcome 2 of the prodoc focuses on local level work. Around 39 % of UNDP resources are budgeted for this outcome.
