Justification: CO is requesting the cancellation of the PORTFOLIO EVALUATION: STRENGTHENING GOVERNANCE INSTITUTIONS PORTFOLIO according the justification described below: 1) All the Governance portfolio was covered by the Country Programme Document evaluation conducted in December 2021 (report is available in ERC); 2) The Final Evaluation Realization of a Justice and Inclusive Society Project evaluated UNDP’s work in participatory local governance, human rights, justice, and rule of law, the role of women in governance and among other areas. 3) The Governance Portfolio as detailed assessed by the evaluation Team in all the sections of the Report, especially in Evaluation Findings; Financial/Operational and Delivery analysis; Cross-cutting themes; UNDP in the United Nations Development System in Angola; Partnership and Resource Mobilization; Conclusions; Recommendations -in General Recommendations, including specific recommendation on Governance- and related management response and key actions committed by CO. Also, Governance Portfolio was evaluated in several Assessments conducted in different matrix in Annex section; 4) UNDP is leading the UN Governance Outcome that will be covered by the UNDAF evaluation planned by UNCT in Q3 2022.
