It may not sound clear probably but we have, actually, revised the CPAP based on the lessons learned gained in CPAP 2006-2010. The development of CPAP 2011-2015 is to follow up on the recommendations made by various stakeholders.

Management Response: [Added: 2012/01/05]

We would like to appreciate the evaluator and colleagues in UNDP and other institutions for this valuable recommendation. We also realize that this need is important to ensure the success of UNDP?s mission in the country office. Accordingly, we will ensure that capacity development and learning on strategic processes are in place appropriately to strengthen the capacity of each individual involved in the programme initiation, planning, implementation, assurance and monitoring-evaluation.

Key Actions:

1. Prepare a staff capacity development plan. 2. Ask staff to find available training(s) relevant to the needs offered by relevant institution(s). 3. Initiate sending staff to various trainings in the country and abroad whenever possible to gain more knowledge and understanding on programme (initiation, planning, implementation, assurance and monitoring-evaluation), administrative and financial aspects.
