Some activities executed by Project BRA/00/021 permit to identify that the objectives and goals, even so of slow form, is being reached. The execution of the Project indicates that its performance has been excellent in the implementation of the devices of the Convention on the Biological Diversity and in safeguarding its biological patrimony for the future generations, when providing support technician to the Ministry of Environment to define and to execute the politics, the action plan and the program of biodiversity; to establish and to co-ordinate action of management of genetic resources; to promote the sustentabilidade of the resources fishing boats; to co-ordinate and to integrate efforts to create and to manage protected areas in the federal and local levels and to develop an ex situ conservation, the research and the tropical botany education.
