Recommendations
Share Findings of Project Baseline Survey, Mapping Exercise and Workplan with Key Stakeholders
Only a few of the parish councilors were able to attend the training sessions in community safety audits. Reccommendation: Train Parish Councillors in Principles of Safety Audit
Community Safety Committees need technical support and training, especially in advocacy strategies to encourage greater responsiveness from state and local government entities to their submissions Reccommendation:Sustain Community Safety Committees
The same Project Board was asked to serve this project and the JVPPSD. However, a distinct and separate time of meeting is required for each project. This will avoid the perception of meetings being too long and insufficient time being spent on any of the projects. Reccommendation:Separate Project Boards for Each Project
The project was piloted in 2 parishes, Clarendon and St. Catherine. However similar interventions were suggested for the other 11 parishes and municipalities Recommendation:Replication of Safety Audit Project
