1.1 Preparation of a SLEM consolidation work-plan for 2011 focusing on: 1) Business Development Services Shops: Completion of structures, agreement between districts and BDSSs providers, development of BDSSs? business plans with revenue plans etc. 2) Microfinance Institutions: Development of multiannual agreements with districts 3) District LED planning: incorporation of LED strategies and related measures into district development plans and MTEF, synergies with other programmes UNCDF/PCU 2011/03 Completed The SLEM Exit Strategy and Final Review Report (Feb 2011) addresses the issues of the BDSS, MFIs, and District LED planning. The Districts and Mwanza Regional Administration are responsible for follow-up actions in this regard.
1.2. Approval of consolidation phase and funding UNCDF 2011/03 No Longer Applicable Recommendation not adopted. There is no additional UNCDF funding available for SLEM. The Project itself came to an end. UDPATE OCT 2012: N/A
