The EPC Fund has been set up with contributions from the BSEEP project (USD 0.5 million) and from the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water, KeTTHA (USD 3.95 million). BSEEP contribution was used to pay for third party credit guarantees, and KeTTHA contribution was used for third party credit guarantees and to lower the financing rate for the fund by 1%.
The EPC fund is being managed by MDV. A consultant has been hired and is providing technical assistance to MDV to conduct due diligence of applications. Hiring of the consultant was agreed by NSC on 24 August 2017.
A joint monitoring committee is in the process of being formed and the first meeting of this committee will be in June 2018. |

The consultancy is expected to end in December 2018. |
