Continue to provide support on the development of the Measurement Reporting and Verifying (MRV) Coordination Mechanism, and the Gender Mainstreaming Roadmap (proposal developed by PC as part of the updating of the Nationally Determined Contributions).

UNDP partially accepts this recommendation: Whereas support on the development of the Measuring, Reporting and Verifying Coordinating Mechanism and Gender Mainstreaming Roadmap only requires committee membership and participation in the review of key documentation and feedback on key issues, etc, the UNDP would be able to commit to that support. Support of a monetary value, however, would not be possible as the project has now come to a close.

A new Energy Policy was approved by Cabinet in 2021. Follow up on the development of a feasible plan for its implementation. In relation to this continue to provide support linked to the establishment of a Dept of Environment with strong coordination function for energy.

UNDP partially accepts this recommendation. Correspondence can be sent to the relevant counterparts endorsing the necessity of its development and maintain dialogue through the relevant committee representation to aid in the development of an implementation plan.
