- Under the new 2022-2026 programming period, the sub-regional programme/outcome board and the joint government and UNDP project boards will continuously monitor and evaluate programme activities in line with the approved evaluation plan. M&E will be carried out in line with the MSDF results matrix to ensure the efficient utilization of programme resources, as well as overall accountability, transparency and integrity. Relevant corporate programme and financial monitoring and reporting tools, such as the UNDP Gender Marker, will be utilized. The Evaluation Plan covers all mandatory evaluations, all required project evaluations based on partnership agreements, and any other evaluation of strategic importance. Evaluations will continue to be conducted in compliance with UNDP Evaluation Guidelines while taking into account any emerging developmental issues and the availability of resources. Lessons from evaluations will be incorporated as feasible into ongoing or new programmatic actions.
