Key Action Update History
Project implementation should be extended a minimum of 12, preferably 18 months (project completion date as December 2020) considering:
- the delays in the PCB sample collection by the participants and the analysis process,
- completion of the BAT/BEP recommended investments
- procurement cycle timelines extending the completion schedule for elimination/disposal activity
Management Response: [Added: 2018/06/26]
A maximum 18-months extension will be considered by the project management unit in order to finalize all remaining activities and ensure longer-term sustainability of the project. The steering committee has also taken a decision for the extension in January 2018 meeting.
